About you

Examples

Standard adult check

Input
Male · 30 y · 175 cm · 75 kg · moderate activity
Output
BMI 24.5 (normal, top edge) · Healthy range 56.7–76.3 kg · TDEE ≈ 2,600 kcal

The healthy-weight window is often more actionable than the index itself.

About this tool

Two standard estimates from one set of inputs: BMI (weight ÷ height²) placed on the WHO adult classification scale with a marker and a healthy-weight window for your height, and daily calorie needs via Mifflin-St Jeor BMR multiplied by an activity factor.

Both numbers are screening estimates, not diagnoses — the tool caps input at ages 15–100 (children use percentile charts) and prints a medical disclaimer with every result.

How to use

  1. Enter your stats

Sex, age, height and weight — metric or imperial; the math stays metric underneath.

  2. Pick activity

Choose the description that matches a typical week, from sedentary to athlete.

  3. Read the results

BMI band with marker, healthy weight range, BMR, TDEE and cut/bulk calorie targets.

  4. Copy

The summary includes the disclaimer automatically when you share it.

Use cases

Calorie baseline

Set a maintenance estimate before starting a cut or bulk phase.

Health screening

Check where weight sits relative to the WHO bands and the healthy range for your height.

Common mistakes

Mistake:Reading BMI as body composition

Fix:BMI cannot tell muscle from fat; lifters often classify overweight while lean. Use it as a rough screen.

Mistake:Treating TDEE as exact

Fix:Even lab estimates carry ±10%; adjust against real weight trends over weeks.
