About DevTools

Free developer tools that run in your browser. No ads, no signup, no tracking pixels.

Who runs this

DevTools is built and operated from Türkiye by Göksel Yeşiller, an independent developer. There is no company signup wall, no paid tier, and no advertising network. The project exists so developers can format JSON, decode JWTs, test regex, and reach for a few hundred other utilities without creating an account.

Privacy: your browser vs our API

Most tools do their work entirely in your browser. Text, tokens, files, and keys you paste into those tools are not uploaded to DevTools. Favorites, theme, and optional auto-save live in local storage on your device.

A smaller set of network utilities (SSL/TLS inspection, DNS propagation, WHOIS/RDAP, HTTP request forwarding, and similar lookups) send the hostname, URL, or IP you submit to api.devtools.tools so they can query the public internet on your behalf. Those tools disclose the network hop in their UI. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

DevTools does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, or LinkedIn pixels. Aggregate page and performance metrics use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which do not receive the contents of tool inputs.
