What does this tool do?

It converts between dBFS, dBu, dBV, volts, and linear amplitude with convertAudioLevel({ value, unit, reference, fullScaleVolts }), returning every unit plus the resolved full scale in one result.

What is 0 dBFS in volts, or -6 dBFS in amplitude?

On the pro reference 0 dBFS is +24 dBu (≈12.277 V peak, ≈21.785 dBV); on consumer it is -10 dBV (≈0.3162 V). -6 dBFS is ≈0.501 amplitude via 10^(dB/20), and 0.5 amplitude reads ≈-6.0206 dB.

Is my data uploaded or stored?

Why is my dB reading negative infinity or NaN?

Zero or negative volts/amplitude map to negative infinity dB, and non-finite inputs propagate NaN through every field — check the source value before converting.
